Nintendo continues to feed the catalog of retro gaming on the Switch Online by launching four new games on its online catalog. The console released in early 2017 has sold more than 55 million copies and Nintendo congratulated itself almost a year ago on having reached 10 million users in its online mode.

Among the new games available in a few days on the catalog, only one comes from the NES. This is Rygar, released in 1986, the game produced by Tecmo is a typical platform game consisting of 27 levels, known to be quite difficult to handle. A reissue was already released in 2002 on PlayStation 2 under the name: Rygar: The Legendary Adventure.

Three Super Nintendo games available

Rygar will be accompanied by three other games, released on the Super Nintendo in the early 1990s. The first, and perhaps the most atypical, is called Wild guns, a third person shooter developed by Natsume and released in 1994. The game, based on a science fiction universe in a Space Western, incorporates the codes of both universes. It is possible to play Clint or Annie , with reference to Clint Eastwood and Annie Oakley. It was well received by critics despite disappointing sales figures. The game was released in late 2016 on Playstation 4 with completely new graphics and new game modes.

Released a year before Wild guns, Operation Logic Bomb will also be available on Switch. First launched on Gameboy, the game, a 2D run and gun, received a score of 70% from Consoles + magazine.

Finally, the Switch Online catalog will host a final game. Pon Panel, a puzzle game, not far from a Candy Crush, or a Tetris from which he draws his inspiration. Released in 1995 on Super Nintendo, it was Intelligent Systems, a development company of the Japanese group that produced it.

As a reminder, the Nintendo Switch Online is available at a monthly price of € 3.99. It allows you to find more than 70 NES and Super Nintendo games.
