This could not escape you, Sony presented last night its brand new PlayStation 5, which will be launched at the end of 2020. For the first time, Sony has chosen to simultaneously launch a "standard" console, with a 4K Blu-Ray player, but also a “Digital Edition” version, devoid of any optical drive, and which will therefore be displayed at a lower price.

Back to the main PS5 games to come

In addition to the design of its console, the video offered last night by PlayStation also allowed players to discover, for the first time, future games to come on the console.

Among the games presented, Sony wanted to start its show by formalizing the PS5 version of … GTA V. Indeed, already available on PS3 and PS4, the game from Rockstar Games will also be available on the Sony PS5, and should a new times go by a few million copies.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Sony subsequently formalized a certain Spider-Man Miles Morales. It’s not a "True" following the game launched a few months ago on PS4, but rather of a revised and corrected extension, which will allow fans to control this popular character.

Project Athia

Then detour to the side of Luminous Productions, the studio of Square Enix, with the presentation of the very enigmatic "Project Athia". Note that this is not the final title of the game, the release date of which has not been specified.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Fans of the Ratchet & Clank saga also had a smile last night, since Sony unveiled a brand new upcoming video on PS5 on video. An episode called "Rift Apart", which was treated to a very nice sequence of gameplay, allowing to appreciate many particle effects and other details very "next gen".

Gran Turismo 7

As rumored, Sony has also released a trailer for the highly anticipated Gran Turismo 7. Indeed, Polyphony Digital has released a video of its future auto racing game coming exclusively on PS4. A title still in development, and if the announcement has something to cheer about, the game has not really been unanimous among fans …

Resident Evil Village

Capcom also wanted to join the big party organized by Sony, by presenting a sublime trailer of the future Resident Evil Village. An opus in the line of Resident Evil 7, with an FPS view and the return of the character of Ethan.


To this, Capcom wanted to add another trailer, that of a game called Pragmata. A new license for the Japanese giant, but which is not expected on our PS5 before 2022.


The French from Arkane Studios were also there, and took advantage of the evening to unveil the trailer for their new Deathloop project. A title which takes up certain elements of the Dishonored saga, and which will be available at the end of the year.

Demon’s Souls

Sony also wanted to present the new Bluepoint Games project, with a new remake, namely that of Demon’s Souls. Again a game eagerly awaited by fans, which will be available only on PS5 and PC.

Horizon Forbidden West

Horizon license enthusiasts, started on PS4, also had something to cheer about, since Sony has unveiled the trailer for the second installment, called Forbidden West. An episode that promises to be quite insolent in beauty, and which will make it possible to rediscover this very special universe, with the power of the PS5.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits

The presentation also allowed EmberLab to unveil the game Kena: Bridge of Spirits. A new license which promises to be very interesting, with an action / adventure oriented game which should not revolutionize the genre, but which promises to be very pleasant to browse and watch.

Astro’s Playroom

Finally, Sony has also unveiled the game Astro’s Playroom, a very accessible title, which will be included directly in the PS5, and which will in particular allow you to discover all the features offered by the DualSense controller.

Recall that the new Sony PS5 will be launched at the very end of this year 2020. We are now waiting to know the exact date of availability of the two consoles, as well as the prices.
