Electronic Arts has officially announced that it will not present a new game next year. The US company plans instead to focus Apex Legends, his game unveiled in February 2019. Since then, the battle royale is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
Apex Legends on mobile, do you like it?
In its announcement released today, EA confirms that the game Apex Legends will make its arrival on mobile -iOS and Android- next year. The royal battle will also land, logically, on tablet as well as on other platforms, but the company does not specify which ones.
We can obviously think of future consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett, whose outputs are scheduled for the end of next year.
When it came out, Apex Legends got a lot of interest from the players despite the fact that the company decided not to communicate about the game before its release, preferring to let the users get their opinion. In just one month, the royal battle has exceeded 50 million players, while it stabilizes today at more than 70 million after experiencing a small decline following the release of its Battle Pass in May.
This lively interest quickly subsided, but it seems that it has built up a solid base of followers. We can assume that they will continue to play on mobile or tablet, channels that should widely popularize the game in the months following this novelty. It remains to be seen if new records will be beaten by the free-to-play competing frontally PUBG and Fortnite.
