Ming-Chi Kuo has made several predictions in recent hours in a report for investors. He predicts in particular the arrival of autofocus for the ultra-wide-angle sensor of the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max. It also relies on some notable specifics concerning the next generation of Apple watch.

No new sensors for health?

According to the analyst, with the Apple Watch Series 7, in terms of internal improvements, Apple would bet on a increase in autonomy mainly. Thus, there will be no new health sensors to put in their mouths, precisely to limit the energy consumption of the watch. On the other hand, in terms of design, it could be that the best companion of the iPhone offers a all new case style.

The Apple Watch has not seen its design really evolve since its first edition in 2015. Even if the shape of its case, a sort of rectangle with rounded corners, serves as its signature and makes it easy to spot it on the wrist of its user, it wouldn’t be surprising if Apple made some stylistic tweaks. We would obviously not bet on a drastic design change: little risk of seeing a round Apple Watch land.

Over the course of its different versions, the Apple Watch has all the same known different variations in terms of finish, ranging from 18-carat gold for the very first model through white or gray ceramic, not to mention pink gold. or even space gray aluminum and silver stainless steel. Note also the titanium finish arrived with the Series 5 or the blue and Product editions (RED) exclusive to the Series 6.

In any case, we can’t wait to see what Apple is preparing for the renewal of its Apple Watch, which is still the best-selling connected watch in the world to this day.
