In December, we learned that the Tesla Model 3 was the best-selling car in the UK during that month. A real feat for the electric car, but above all for the company that allowed Elon Musk to become the richest man in the world. If Tesla is often synonymous with inaccessible luxury cars, it seems that this is no longer the case. To afford a Tesla Model 3, the cheapest model offered by the American manufacturer, it was necessary for a long time to spend at least 50,000 euros.
However, it is important to clarify that Tesla has a habit of changing its prices at any time. This is especially what has just happened in Europe where the Tesla Model 3 is now available from 36,800 euros. On the surface, you would think that Tesla decided to give us a 13,200 euro discount, just like that, for fun, but it’s actually much more complicated than that.
New rates that shouldn’t last
To put it simply, the Tesla Model 3 “Standard Plus” is available from 43,800 euros. As a result, this electric car goes below the € 45,000 mark, which makes it possible to benefit from the ecological bonus at 100% and therefore to benefit from a bonus of € 7,000. If our calculations are correct, 43,800 – 7000 is equal to 36,800, ie the starting price for the Tesla Model 3. According to this same process, the Tesla Model 3 “Large Autonomy” now goes to 48,990 euros. You can therefore enjoy this optimized version at the price of what the Tesla Model 3 “Standard Plus” was worth a few weeks ago.
Regarding the “Performance” range, the price of the Model 3 goes from 65,990 euros to 56,990 euros, a nice saving of 9,000 euros. Obviously, these prices are doomed to change, it is currently the lowest price list ever offered by Tesla. If you want to take advantage of it, you will have to order your Model 3 before June 2021, since from June 3 prices should start to rise again.
