The BMW iX3 revealed in advance?

Last month, BMW officially unveiled (and on video) its new Gran Coupé i4, a new 100% electric sedan. The German giant will indeed offer, from 2021, its new BMW i4 which will have an electric motor developing a total of 390 kW, or the equivalent of 530 hp. In April 2018, BMW unveiled a concept announcing its future 100% electric SUV, and today, via Instagram, it seems that the long-awaited iX3 has already leaked before its official presentation. In fact, for the past few hours, two photos of the new BMW badged electric SUV have been available on the social network.


Imminent formalization for the BMW iX3?

In all likelihood, BMW should very soon lift the veil on this new model, which will constitute a small revolution for the German manufacturer. Indeed, this is the first time that a model " classic Of BMW is transformed into a 100% electric version. Obviously, BMW will clearly display the "i" side of this X3, with some aesthetic modifications as well as various bluish inserts.

Obviously, BMW will also offer its iX3 new exclusive rims, cut to optimize the aerodynamics of this new model, and glean a few precious kilometers of autonomy. In this regard, the BMW iX3 SUV should be equipped with a 74 kWh battery, and could offer a range of around 440 km.

On board, we will of course find the latest eDrive technology, and the SUV should be offered (among others) with a (electric) engine of 286 hp and a torque of 400 Nm. It remains to be seen now when BMW will formalize this electric variant of its very popular X3, and at what price it will be displayed in dealerships.
