Leaks reveal to us in detail the characteristics of the Mavic Air 2, the next drone of the DJI brand. If we believe these, we can especially hope for better autonomy.
Launched in 2018, the Mavic Air quickly conquered the public with its ultra-portable format. Since then, the model has become one of the pillars of DJI’s dominance in the consumer drone market. More than two years later, the Chinese manufacturer is preparing to launch a suite that could well consolidate its lead over the competition.

Published byAnatel, the Brazilian agency that regulates telecommunications, a series of photos show us what appears to be the Mavic Air 2. In fact, any electronic device must obtain the approval of this authority in order to hope for commercialization in Brazil.
Thus, we can deduce that DJI will launch its drone very soon. In the above image of the device, note the words "DJI" and "Mavic Air 2" on the fin. The photos appeared online on the Brazilian site DroneFriendly before being taken up by the American site The Verge.

Technical characteristics also revealed
In addition to the design of the device, the Anatel also gives us a nice overview of what we can expect from the technical sheet. Thus, the camera will be able to shoot videos in 4K and take 48 megapixel shots.
A photo of the battery label also reveals that the battery will have the capacity to 3,500 mAh, more than the 2,375 mAh of its predecessor.
The Brazilian agency has also published the instruction manual where we learn, according to a translation of The Verge, that the craft will be able to fly at 68.4 km / h. In addition, the autonomy may reach 34 minutes, compared to just 21 currently.
