It’s a festive launch day in France since that’s it, the PS5 is finally available in our territory. Today, thousands of players will be able to discover the next-gen according to PlayStation, a week after the release of the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S.
After discovering your first games, maybe it’s time to add a secondary account on your PS5 so you can share your games with a friend? That’s good, Squeezer has prepared a handy little guide for you to perform this operation in less than 5 minutes.
Share your PS5 games with friends
First of all, it is important to specify that it is essential to add a secondary account (that of the friend with whom you want to share your games) on your console. For those who need help, our guide to doing this is available here.
Once on the main menu of your console (on the profile of your friend with whom you want to share your games), go to the settings (the wheel at the top right of the screen, just next to his photo of profile).

Then go to the fourth tab named “Others” to continue the operation.
You will then have three possible choices with “Console sharing and offline play”, “Restore licenses” and “Disconnect”. You will have to choose the first option for sharing.
Once on this menu, all you have to do is choose the “activate” option to access your friend’s games. The latter will have to perform the same operation to be able to access your games.

Now go back to the main menu of the console (still on your friend’s account). Then go to the “Library” category.
You will then have access to all of your friend’s games. It will be enough to download the games (only games purchased from PlayStation Store, sharing does not work with physical games). Once the download has started, you can go back to your session, complete the download and launch the game under your profile and play it.
