No, the new Karma Revero GTE has nothing to do with the electric concept car Karma Vision, designed by Pininfarina and presented at the Shanghai motor show in March 2019. Because the new electrified sedan inducted by the American manufacturer wants to be in the aesthetic line of its predecessors GT and GTS, from which it is greatly inspired, so situating it at opposite poles from the design of the Vision.
Three battery configurations
Passed under the Chinese flag in 2014 following numerous financial difficulties, the company continues its development on the electric car market. But unlike its vehicles previously presented, the GTE does not incorporate any internal combustion engine, which was used as a range extender. Here, the zero emission sedan gets a 100% electric configuration.
Based on the Karma E-Flex platform, the automobile is available in three distinct versions according to their respective autonomy: 322 km thanks to a 75 kWh battery, 482 km with the 100 kWh pack and 643 km for the most advanced variant , which should however arrive a few months after the first two nominees, expected for the fall of 2021.

Its fast charge (150 kWh) will also allow it to recover 80% of its juice in the space of thirty minutes, while recharging with alternating current (11 kW) remains possible, provided that you plug in your vehicle overnight .
Pre-orders will open in the coming months, the brand said in the official press release, for the European and Chinese markets only.
