Only two hours after Sony spoke about the PlayStation 5, it's Microsoft's turn to speak again after the announcement of the Xbox Series X at the Game Awards and the two big press releases . Today is the first Xbox video since the console was announced.

It’s important to remember that today's conferences are the conferences that were scheduled for the Game Developers Conference, which was canceled due to Covid-19 (coronavirus). Thus, we should have very technical conferences which will highlight the power and the characteristics of the consoles, rather than the games and the "entertainment" side of these.

Power Your Dreams

7 p.m. – The start of the Xbox conference is imminent. Microsoft going to do a GDC conference like Sony? Where are we going to see games?

7:05 p.m. – Delay for the start of the Xbox conference, several timetables are available, like 7:30 p.m. or 8 p.m.

7:08 p.m. – Apparently the conference time was postponed to 7:30 p.m.

7:30 p.m. – Still nothing, the 8pm schedule is therefore more likely.

7:55 p.m. – The start of the conference is imminent. We learn that the Xbox Series X will arrive for Thanksgiving 2020! (November 26, 2020)

7:58 p.m. – There will be four speakers per phone for this Xbox talk time.

8 p.m. – Beginning of calm video with a time of exchange between the four speakers to explain how they work, the pride of the teams etc …

8:06 p.m. – While the various speakers talk about their working conditions, their objectives, the Xbox Series X is presented from all angles.

8:10 p.m. -A lot of blah-blah, things that we already know and not really big essential information at the moment.

8:12 p.m. – We have the right to an overview of the famous servers which will have the role of operating the famous Project XCloud. A project that will last for many years.

8:20 p.m. -We come to the half hour conference, Microsoft is in the same line as Sony and its PlayStation 5. We have learned nothing very incredible.

8:22 p.m. – The main objective of XCloud is to offer games via the Cloud, but that the player does not see the difference with a "normal" game. There should soon be 90 games with long-term iOS and Android compatibility.

8:25 p.m. – New sources seem to deny the release of "Thanksgiving".

8:28 p.m. – We are approaching 40 minutes of conference and we are still at the same point unfortunately. Lots of “blah-blah” that we already know and lots of repetitions.

8:33 p.m. – Major Nelson confirms that the Xbox Series X is scheduled for "Late 2020" without further details. November 26 for Thanksgiving is a false date.

8:40 p.m. – Here we are 50 minutes from the conference. And time is long…

8.45 p.m. – There is really no announcement, it is a debate, an exchange on all the things that have already been said. It is cruelly boring and uninteresting.

8:52 p.m. – It is the end. Finally, a speech as failed as that of PlayStation in the late afternoon. Very little information, since all the things that were said we knew. In short, the next-gen will not make you dream today.
