While the first big Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S exclusive is due out at the end of the month (with The Medium set to release January 28), we’re heading into a fairly quiet first year on the home side for now. Microsoft. If a dozen titles are expected for this year, the big major games should be rare.

Halo Infinite is expected at the end of the year, the Xbox version of Microsoft Flight Simulator for this summer, as well as The Medium within ten days. What if Microsoft prepared a nice surprise for gamers with at least two unannounced major Xbox games well planned for this year?

Big surprise games for the Xbox in 2021?

As for Sony, the year 2021 promises to be great! Between Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, Horizon Forbidden West, God of War Ragnarök, Kena: Bridge of Spirits or Gran Turismo 7, the PS5 could live a historic first year (even if, let’s be realistic, two or three games could be postponed to 2022).

On the Xbox side, Microsoft is a little more discreet with only three big hits announced for the moment. What if the trend reverses with PS5 games pushed back to 2022 and unannounced Xbox games that could ultimately surprise gamers? This is in any case what Jez Corden, editor at Windows Central seems to announce during the last video “Xbox Two” of Rand al Thor 19.

I know of at least two games, big games, that aren’t on the upcoming Xbox roster in 2021. But I’m not going to say anything so as not to spoil the developers’ surprise. It’s up to them to announce them.

A statement which remains mysterious and which will above all arouse our curiosity. Windows Central are generally well informed to the point where they are the first to leak information around the S Series, price and release date of the X Series last September. So, we really can’t wait to hear about the two (or more) games that Jez Corden talks about in this video.
