With the 48 megapixels spreading like gunpowder in the middle and high ranges of the different manufacturers, it seems that the 64 megapixels are the new fashion resolution among Chinese brands. The Realme X2 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro are two models that already boast that feature, but there are other brands that have their own proposals in the oven.

Everything indicates that Samsung will launch the Galaxy A70s in the coming days, with triple camera and the ISOCELL GW1 sensor as spearhead, and OPPO has already confirmed that next October 10, next to the expected OPPO Reno Ace, the light will come OPPO K5, with a four sensor rear camera, being the main 64 megapixel.

The company itself, through a publication on Weibo, has announced the launch of OPPO K5 for October 10. And not only that, but it has also shown an image that unveils your design and the colors available (three, at the moment).

In that photo, the presence of a quad rear camera aligned vertically on the left and a screen with a drop-shaped notch. In addition, it has confirmed the star feature of the new terminal: its 64 megapixel resolution.

The new OPPO K5 would therefore coincide with the PCNM00 model that recently appeared in TENAA with four cameras at the rear of 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP and a 32 MP front camera. The file on the Chinese certification body for that phone also included a 6.4 inch screen with resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and integrated fingerprint sensor.

Other features that appeared are the 2.2 GHz octa-core processor, the 8 GB of RAM, the internal storage of 128 GB and the 3,920 mAh battery with fast charging VOOC 4.0 30W. And all of them co-operate with the OPPO K5 that already appears in some Chinese online stores and also includes the Snapdragon 730G among its features.

To know the rest of the details of this new OPPO proposal, as well as its availability and its price to market, we will have to wait until October 10. But, for the moment, there is one thing that is clear: the Chinese company does not want to be left behind in the megapixel race and, judging by the confirmed benefits, has taken as reference the mentioned Realme X2 for your next OPPO K5.
