The Spanish car manufacturer Seat has officially opened French orders for its micro-urban electric vehicle named Mii. Thanks to the ecological bonus of 6,000 euros, the latter drops to 15,920 euros, one of the cheapest on the market.
Presented in Oslo last June, then exhibited at the Frankfurt Motor Show three months later, the Seat Mii is part of a strategy of electrification both wanted and assumed: because this zero emission version just takes the relay of its thermal cousin, whose production was suspended in July 2019. The autonomy and the power … of a city car
To do this, the company from the other side of the Pyrenees put a low fee schedule: 21,920 euros, we learn in a press release, without the ecological bonus of 6,000 euros. With this micro-city rips to 15,920 euros, one of the cheapest on the market. The model also comes in two trim levels: Mii Electric and Mii Electric Plus.
The first is fast charging, Lane Assist, Hill Start Assist or DAB Digital Radio. When the second, for an additional 1,150 euros, is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, sports front seats and heated, rear-tinted windows and LED daytime running lights.
In addition, a battery of 32.3 kWh giving it a range of 260 kilometers according to the WLTP approval cycle and a motor delivering a power of 61 kW (83 hp) for a torque of 212 Nm. 0 to 50 km / h in 3.9 seconds and spin at a maximum speed of 130 km / h. Charge side, count one hour to find 80% of its energy thanks to direct current of 40 kW.
A touch of connectivity
The Seat Connect app allows the user to manage their vehicle from their mobile device or tablet: battery status, recharge programming, geolocation, checking the closing of doors and windows, remote activation air conditioning.
The Iberian company has also declined in four packs (City, Easy Flex, Winter and Home Charge) and five colors, that are Intense Black, Costa Blue, Tungsten Gray, White Candy and Red Tornado. Deliveries will take place in the course of the first quarter of 2020.
