After a rather mixed first edition, the Summer Game Fest is back in 2021 for a second revised and improved version (according to its organizers). This time, it is not a festival of four and a half months, but of “only” two and a half months which is offered to the players.

In the program ? There will always be digital gatherings to celebrate the future of the video game industry. You will be entitled to announcements, lectures, surprises, new information gameplay and guests, lots of guests.
The start of the Summer Game Fest 2021 was Thursday June 10 at 8 p.m. with the opening ceremony. A one-and-a-half hour show to discover around thirty games. Over the weekend, the Summer Game Fest teamed up with E3 for some conferences and we got the first dates of the year.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland

The talented team behind the Borderlands saga is back! This time, it is with a tactical-RPG game in the universe of Borderlands (a spin-off of the series) on which they have been working for ten years! The game is expected at the start of 2022 and should delight fans of the saga!

Death Stranding: Director’s Cut

Released in November 2019 on PS4, then in June 2020 on PC, Death Stranding is preparing to return in an ultimate version on PS5. Hideo Kojima has announced his “Director’s Cut” version with very little information but with a trailer that will please Metal Gear Solid fans. Unfortunately, very little information at the moment, but we know that the game should arrive “soon”!

Jurassic World Evolution 2

When a new Jurassic Park game is announced, it does take its toll. Especially when it is the sequel to the very good Evolution management game… And especially when this game is announced by Jeff Goldblum! See you at the end of the year to experience a new story with a game set after the events of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom.

Two Point Campus

Two Point Studio has just announced their new game! After managing a hospital, you will be able to create and manage your university in Two Point Campus from 2022! In the program ? A game as always crazy allowing your students to take wacky lessons like creating giant pizzas! Just that.

Planet of Lana

The Swedish studio Wishfully has just unveiled its first very promising game: Planet of Lana. A 2D game with sublime artistic direction that will feature the adventures of Lana, a young girl, traveling an alien planet in search of her sister. A puzzle-game that will arrive on PC and Xbox in 2022!

Elden Ring

Announced at E3 2019, this new game from From Software (Dark Souls, Sekiro) in partnership with George RR Martin (Game of Thrones) is eagerly awaited. An open world game that will land on January 21, 2022 and which exhibited its first gameplay trailer last week. Despite a rich and promising universe, we are a little bit hungry for graphics and achievements for a game that will not be a next-gen production!

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

First big announcement of E3, it is signed Ubisoft with Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora on PS5, Xbox Series X / S and PC. The game is expected in 2022 and at the same time unveils a preview of Ubisoft’s new Snowdrop graphics engine. A mouth-watering first video!

Mario + Raving Rabbids: Sparks of Hope

Always on the side of Ubisoft, in partnership with Nintendo, the rabbits who illustrated themselves with a trailer alongside Mario and his companions. The sequel to “Kingdom Battle” is in development and will arrive on Nintendo Switch next year!
