On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, E3 2021 ended with the awards ceremony for the best games of this edition. From the Ubisoft conference on June 12 at 9 p.m. via the very good Microsoft showcase with Xbox / Bethesda. Without forgetting Square Enix, Gearbox or Nintendo, here is a small non-exhaustive selection of the best announcements of this year and the games to watch in the months to come!

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

First big announcement of E3, it is signed Ubisoft with Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora on PS5, Xbox Series X / S and PC. The game is expected in 2022 and at the same time unveils a preview of Ubisoft’s new Snowdrop graphics engine. A mouth-watering first video!

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope

Always on the side of Ubisoft, in partnership with Nintendo, the rabbits who illustrated themselves with a trailer alongside Mario and his companions. The sequel to “Kingdom Battle” is in development and will arrive on Nintendo Switch next year!

Riders Republic

One of the nice surprises of the Ubisoft conference and the start of E3: The gameplay presentation of Riders Republic. Ubisoft Annecy will offer us at the end of the summer: fun, fun and more fun! Whether skiing, snowboarding, cycling or parachuting, there will be something for everyone in this extreme sports MMO that will bring together 64 players!

Tiny Tina’s Woderlands

When the Borderlands teams work for ten years on a project… It makes you want to! With Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, we’ll dive into a tactical RPG set in the Borderlands universe (largely inspired by the Borderlands 2 DLC: Tiny Tina and the Dragon Fortress).

Starfield

After three years of waiting, Bethesda Game Studio has finally unveiled a first look at its RPG Starfield. Rendezvous in the stars in November 2022 to visit many planets, face aliens and discover this adventure that promises to be incredible!

Battlefield 2042

Also during the Xbox conference, Electronic Arts unveiled a first gameplay video of the highly anticipated Battlefield 2042! And, the only thing we can find to say is that it really moves!

Halo Infinite

A year after the gameplay shower, Microsoft and 343 Industries have unveiled a new trailer for Halo Infinite. Alas, no gameplay, but a rather reassuring cinematic. As a consolation prize, we had the right to a multiplayer gameplay trailer for this game which is still expected for the end of the year without further details!

A Plague Tale Requiem

The French from Asobo Studios are back with A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to the excellent A Plague Tale Innocence. For the moment, very little information, but see you in 2022 to find Amicia and Hugo!

Jurassic World Evolution 2

Announced by Jeff Goldblum during the opening ceremony of the Summer Game Fest, Jurassic World Evolution 2 once again stood out during the conference of the Future Games Show / PC Game Show at E3 2021. The opportunity to discover never-before-seen gameplay footage and some of the species of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures that you will encounter in the game.

Metroid Dread
