A few days ago we talked about the Huawei Nova 6, a terminal that will be presented on December 5, and that will arrive to put more meat on the grill of the upper mid-range. He would be the successor of the newly analyzed Nova 5T, and while we knew some of its specifications, there was no news about his arrival from the hand of 5G.

Huawei has unveiled a teaser on this Nova 6 in Weibo, showing its design in full, showing some interesting features and, most importantly, showing us that it will be a device with 5G connectivity.

5G and side reader for the Nova 6

The Nova 6 becomes relevant for the Spanish market, since this family of devices usually arrives in our country, staying a twin brother under the Honor firm for the Chinese market, as in the case of the Nova 5T and Honor 20 ..

The Nova 6 will be halfway between the mid-range and the high-end, with elements of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro such as the processor and high memory settings, but at a lower price

Rumors about it pointed to the Kirin 990 (the same as the Huawei Mate 30 Pro), along with configurations of 8 and 12 GB of RAM, as well as 128 and 256 GB for internal storage. Similarly, we knew that its panel would reach 6.44 inches (IPS), and that the rear cameras would be four: 60 + 16 + 12 + 2 megapixels.

Teaser confirm the presence of these four cameras, as well as a feature inherited from the Honor 20 or Huawei Nova 5T, the fingerprint reader on the right side. To say that, in tests with its predecessors, this reader worked outstandingly, so we can expect good performance from the new model. Similarly, the presence of a double hole-shaped front camera, which replaces the only hole with the previous models.

But the star point of this Nova 6 is your 5G connectivity. Here, there is the question of whether there will be 4G version and 5G version (most likely, seeing the history of the firm) or if it will be a single version. Be that as it may, the main point is that Huawei will also bet on 5G for devices outside the highest range, a movement that companies like Xiaomi or Samsung are starting to launch.
