As of November 10, you can enjoy the latest Xbox Series X (as well as the Xbox Series S). Less than a month after the presentation of this next-gen console, Microsoft has just rolled out the first software update.

This update includes many customization options. For example, we find “X / S” badges on games that are optimized for the next-gen. This badge can also serve as a filter in your library to see only optimized games. Likewise, you can now easily see which games have Auto HDR functionality.
“Just like we did on Xbox One, we will continue to periodically release software updates designed to improve your Xbox gaming experience based on your feedback. “
Once the update is installed you will also have access to many dynamic backgrounds. The interface also has a brand new “Activity” tab that allows you to take a quick look at your current goals, but especially to see who is online by having the possibility of joining them very easily.
In September, Microsoft launched the Xbox Family Settings app on Android and iOS. This application is for parents who want to keep an eye on their children’s activity in front of the console. It allows you to set screen time limits, respond to notifications and more. Most importantly, this service allows you to create multiple accounts for family members and assign these rules to some of them. Today, it is possible to keep the family from the configuration of the console, with all the settings.
Another new feature, and not the least, is the “Play Later” feature. If you are anxiously awaiting a game that should be released soon, you can preinstall it, which allows you to automatically start the installation on release day. Obviously this does not give you the right to enjoy it in preview, but allows you to have a small head start.
