Xiaomi's collaboration with Meitu paid off for the new CC9 series that premiered with two members: the Xiaomi CC9 and the Xiaomi CC9e. The third member is on the way and, as the company itself has informed in its profile in Weibo, is coming, the Xiaomi CC9 Pro.

Yesterday the ban on teasers of the new model in Weibo was officially opened, and since then the company has not stopped confirming characteristics that will reach this new model and that the next one will be presented in China November 5th, along with your smartwatch with Wear OS.

Five cameras and 108 megapixels

The Xiaomi CC9 arrived in July with a triple camera of 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP, but the photographic bet of this Xiaomi CC9 Pro looks quite more complete. The company itself has shared virtually all the details of its lenses that, by the way, there are five in total.

As Xiaomi has shared in its Weibo profile, the Xiaomi CC9 Pro will have five lenses and one 108 megapixel main sensor. The arrangement of these lenses is vertical, with the small lens for the macro mode below. These are the five lenses:

  • Telephoto with 10x hybrid zoom (50x maximum zoom)
  • 12 megapixel depth lens.
  • 108 MP main lens with f / 1.7 aperture.
  • 20 MP wide angle with 117 degree angle.
  • 1.5 cm macro lens.

As for the design, the company itself has shared numerous photos in its Weibo account so there are not many secrets to be revealed, especially in the back where we have seen predominantly the green color. Ahead we have not been able to see it in such detail, although it is confirmed that it will have a curved screen on the sides, as seen in the following image.

Although it is barely visible in the previous image, it seems to appreciate a small drop-shaped notch or V at the top of the terminal, which would be consistent considering that the rest of CC9 models thus solved the front camera.

On the rest of the specifications, at the moment the company has not pronounced, giving all the prominence to the camera. The Product Manager of Xiaomi CC ensures in its Weibo account that "the cost of the camera module is five times higher than the previous generations of CC9". We will leave doubts on November 5th at 14:00 local time (7:00 from Spain).
