If you follow closely (and even from afar) the news around the video game, you probably did not miss the soap opera “Cyberpunk 2077” at the end of the year 2020. A catastrophic release of the game on consoles with a multitude of bugs, disastrous communication from CD Projekt Red, controversies never seen in the video game industry. Sony took the initiative remove the game from PlayStation Store, many lawsuits are underway for a case that is far from over.

After the posting of two large patches aimed at making the PS4 and Xbox One versions “acceptable” (without success), CD Projekt is now focusing on the future. A next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher III are planned for this year.

A compilation of bugs from the developers of Cyberpunk 2077

As soon as the game was released, a wave of humorous videos flooded the Net. Whether through GIFs on social networks or real compilations on YouTube, Cyberpunk 2077 was the game of the end of the year 2020 for fun. Throughout the marketing campaign, CD Projekt Red ensured that its game worked very well on PC and consoles and that no major major bugs were to be deplored.

Obviously, the developers did not agree with the management. Three videos have just been released on the Internet with compilations from the creators of the game which show that the production was not so perfect. In addition to these two videos, you can find a last one right here.

It was through a tweet (since deleted) that a producer of the game confirmed the authenticity of the videos. When we know all the many problems that are still relevant around the game, we suspect that the leak will probably not be seen very well by the studio. As of December, Sony still has not reinstated Cyberpunk 2077 on the PlayStation Store, and there are numerous class actions pending.

The game is still very unstable on PS4 and Xbox One and we don’t know if the next-gen versions will arrive this year. Obviously, it will take several months for CD Projekt Red to regain serenity.
