The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi continues to strengthen its catalog of electric two-wheelers: the latest arrival, the 70mai A1 scooter, available in a Pro version, is armed with a very affordable price.
Mainly known for its smartphones, the manufacturer Xiaomi has gradually made a place for itself on the niche of electric scooters. So much so that its M365 Pro model has now become one of the benchmarks in the field. Ambitious, the firm of the Middle Kingdom also took by storm the sector of zero emission scooters: evidenced by the introduction of its Himo T1 and C16.
Very light, but very slow
And since the Asian group really intends to grab a maximum of market shares, a new electrified scooter by the name of Xiaomi 70mai A1 has recently been the subject of induction, alongside a Pro version, we learn in the columns of Electrek. Weighing 52 kilos, the two models, very small in appearance, are armed with 16-inch wheels.
The classic version offers a 768 Wh battery giving it a range of 60 km, when the A1 Pro has a more generous 960 Wh battery, a range of 70 km. Removable, the battery pack is easily rechargeable at home or at work. Add to that hydraulic disc brakes integrated into the two vehicles, and a top speed close to 25 km / h maximum.
The A1 Pro, on the other hand, is more technologically advanced, since it is equipped with a touch screen and a dashcam 1080p, itself with a 130-degree wide-angle lens capable of capturing videos while on the move. The digital instrumentation is supplemented by an integrated GPS and a voice control system.
Only available in China at the time of their launch, the A1 and A1 Pro scooters are sold at the respective prices of 2,999 and 3,999 yuan, or around 380 and 510 euros.
